Personally

I'm 38 years old, married, and I have a daughter who is my single highest priority in life. Like a lot of kids who grew up to code, I grew up loving videogames in pretty much all forms. As you can probably guess, that led to a fascination with computers, which inevitably led to wanting to figure out how they worked. As the fascination with computers and games grew, so did the urge to make them. After learning how to actually program, that urge has been replaced with an urge to play a lot of games, and enjoy them as much as possible.

Ever since I graduated, I've been employed developing apps and websites. Either custom solutions (using both frameworks or vanilla PHP) or using various CMS's. The dates and job titles are on the cv.

I like having at least one project on the side, that serves as an outlet for creativity and a way to discover new technology. That's most of what lives in work and all of what lives in play.
